With mighty keyboard in hand,
She writes stories to create.
Dialogue and description,
Until that end of year date.

Thirty categories strong,
Only abstains from a few.
Susan entertains the fans,
Most believe her stories true.

Characters tell what to write,
Constantly chat in her head.
There’s no break from their voices,
They talk when resting in bed.

They all want their stories told,
They tell her what she should say.
She is the vessel they use,
Using her brain in that way.

End of December arrives,
The date she works the year long.
Survivor Contest is hers,
Those who think they’ll win are wrong.

So here’s a special salute,
The best writer of them all!
With many writers to beat,
First they falter, then they fall.

With other writers who try,
To become the best writer.
Chances are slim they will win,
