Wherever I Go, She Go Ch. 02

Alexander looked down at his desk, tapping his fingers to it. He was sitting in his office at him, books surrounding him. Cyrus and Greg were sitting in their usually seats at the office. Cyrus on the couch on the side of the room, Greg by the window, looking outside at the beautiful view of New York.

"What's up Alex?" Cyrus asked, tiered of the silence. Actually, he knew damn well what was wrong. That girl that they saw tonight stood up for herself, and Alex didn't like that.

"Where's Mya?" Alex asked, completely off topic. Apparently he didn't want to talk about it. "Shouldn't she be—"

"I'm here," Mya announced, opening the door with a dramatic look to her face. In her hand she held this month's profits, and obviously she was quite proud of her work.

Alex looked at Mya expectantly. He usually hated when people were late, and sometimes people lost fingers because of that. But with Mya it was different. She was his best friend. The two had known each other since grade school, and had even played hide and seek together. They were both loners, Alex because his father told him not to get closed to anyone in his life, and Mya because her father said friends are stupid distractions. They'd broken down barriers back then, when they stood up to their strict fathers and demanded that they let them be friends. Since that moment, they'd been the closest a man and woman could ever be. They were each other's first everything, from kiss to consultant.

When they broke up when they were in high school, they'd even had taken that coolly. The both knew they weren't right for each other for love, but more for a friendship.

But that didn't exactly mean that she was getting out of this. Oh no, he was going to make sure she felt it, and he knew just how to do it too. "You do know that keeping me waiting takes off a thousand."

Mya's eyes narrowed. She hated when Alex decided to punish her, because she was supposed to be 'like everyone else'. Fuck that. She wasn't everyone else. She was Mya fucking Lee, and he wasn't going to forget that shit. "Hmm I wonder who wants to see his numbers...you know, before I 'accidently' burn them." Mya held back a smile while she watched Alex tense. But when she looked in his eyes it was obvious he wasn't in a playful mood this evening. His gray eyes seemed lost tonight, and Mya wondered why.

Alex looked at Mya, or more past her, and thought about how fucking reckless Mya was. Mya was a pretty girl. She had long brown hair, pale, and brown eyes. She was Asian, but she was far from the stereotypes of Asian's. She was quick to get hot, she was attracted to females, she was beyond competitive, and she was more street smart then book, aside from numbers. She was a genius when it came to accounting, and she was scary about it. It was like she was obsessed. But even though she has all those great qualities, that fucking attitude, that kind of shit could get her killed.

Now that he thought about it, she and that other girl from tonight were really alike, with a 'You WILL respect me' attitude. Not that he didn't admire that. Because that's what he demanded, but no matter what, he'd win. It was automatically programmed in him to win. That's why Mya was going to find out who that little bitch from tonight was, and bring her to him. As soon as fucking possible.

"Shiiiitteee!" Nikki screeched, gripping her aching toes. "Fucking assHOLE!" she'd just bang her toe against the living on table, and it hurt like a bitch. She threw herself on the dingy couch she and let out more cries of pain.

"What the fuck sis?" Penny asked, walking past Nikki to go to the kitchen.

"MY FUCKING FOOT!" Nikki shouted, even though the pain was slowly going away.

Penny grabbed a soda and replied, "Oh. Well anyway, Jerry is coming over tonight."

Nikki glared at her sister. "Are you serious? That's like the third time this week!"

Penny glared at her sister and opened the bottle and complained, "First you yell at me for not being in a relationship, then when I decide to settle down, you hate it."

"I don't hate it," Nikki said softly, looking into her sister's greenish-blue eyes. "I just hate that he doesn't have his own place so he comes over here twenty four seven. He's a fucking alcoholic and you know I have to deal with that at work. I don't want that shit at home too."

"So we'll go to his place tonight." Penny replied, sitting down on the floor next to her sister's legs, crossing her own.

"Are you sure that's even safe?" Nikki considered. "I mean, he lives with a bunch of 'runners' for a large mob boss. Isn't it like, one strike and you're out?"

Penny shrugged. "I don't really ask Jerry about that kind of stuff."

Nikki shook her head at her sister's irresponsibility. She didn't know about that stuff either, but regardless she wasn't going to throw herself under the bus. Especially not for a guy. "Ok...well I'm gonna take a shower." Nikki moved toward their shower, and muttered. "I need this night off of me. Fucking asshole." She cursed, recalling the bold man she'd encountered that night. As she turned the shower on, she couldn't help but remember his eyes, they'd been something that stuck in her mind. They were grey, but appeared to be silver, and when he turned to look at her angrily, she couldn't help but get a little tingle in between her thighs. God, that guy was fucking sexy.

Nikki shook her head. "What's wrong with me?"

Normally, Nikki never thought like this. In high school, she'd been called the 'stuck up bitch' because she spent more time studying then dating. She refused to let anyone get in the way of her dreams of opening her own practice, and she especially wasn't going to let a man get in the way. She'd been more homely. Not that she didn't have her share of boyfriends throughout her high school career. It was just that she went for the guys that were smart, that believed in goals, rather than a cute face. Nikki rolled her eyes, thinking about how every guy she'd ever been with had been mentally arousing, but when it came to the bedroom, she'd never actually had a good time with sex. Maybe that's why she tossed the thought of sex away. She wasn't a virgin, but she hadn't had sex in two years, so she might've well been a born-again virgin. She laughed lightly. Her sister was her complete opposite. 'Take no prisoners' was Penny's motto since the day she was born. She applied that to everything that was important to her. Family first, then boys. She'd gotten around quite a lot when they were in high school, regardless of Nikki's never ending warnings about STDs, stupid guys, and the rumors about her. She didn't give a fuck. More often than once, Nikki wished she could be just as free as her little sister, be just as inhabited.

But for some reason, tonight she felt herself slip a little. That guy got to her quick, which wasn't something new, but the fact that she melted at the look he gave her, and even that quick smack he dished to her, got to her. She wasn't usually quick to get turned on. But who the fuck was he? Mimi had acted like he was so special. Was he a model? He looked good enough to be one. But with such an attitude...how did people put up with him? She sure as hell wouldn't.

***

Nikki walked out of her house at around seven twenty, dressed in Sean John sweats, and her thick curly hair wrapped up in a ponytail. She was carrying her usual duffle bag, filled with her revealing work uniform that consisted of small shorts, that barely covered her thick hips, and a tight white shirt that barely hid her 36C breast. Luckily they'd funded for black jackets that met her torso. More often than not Nikki zipped the jacket up so her unruly costumers wouldn't look down her v-neck. Nikki sighed. When she'd first to the job she'd been 18 and hadn't really known much about the city. She'd come from Westchester, which was more of a suburb in New York. Actually, she didn't have to work at the sleazy place, but she was doing it more to prove a point to her asshole father. She could make it on her own. She didn't need anyone. And she didn't until her sister decided that she couldn't take being suffocated by her father, and wanted to live with her. When Nikki had heard that, her heart had dropped a little. She liked living alone. Not that she didn't like her sister, she actually loved her sister, but living alone had given her a hella lotta freedom. She missed that. "Spare change?" a man sitting on the street held his hands out, so Nikki gave him a ten and moved on. She hated that about herself though. She barely had money, but she couldn't help but not give money to someone less fortunate.

"Hey babe," Mimi shouted excitedly, reaching over to hug Nikki when she walked inside the club. "We aren't working tonight!" her friend sing-songed, shaking her ass a little.

"What?" Nikki asked, her face dropping a little. She needed the paycheck, along with her hefty tips. "Why the fuck not?"

Mimi grinned and pulled her friend with her. "We're still getting paid, don't worry girly, but...we're watching the strippers perform tonight."

Nikki rolled her eyes. This wasn't exactly something new for her. She came here on time every night, so she was always around when the strippers decided to practice a little. "Okay...and your point is?"

"Fresh Meat." Jaryd grinned, placing his hands on both Nikki and Mimi.

Nikki's eyes widened with happiness. "HELL YES!" Nikki shouted, pumping her fist in the air. God she loved Fresh Meat. They were so innocent, and were so gullible and easy to fool. Especially since most of them were dumb blondes who resembled Samantha. "Ahh I almost forgot about Fresh Meat night."

Mimi nodded excitedly, and threw herself on the stripper stage. "Come dance with me Nik." Mimi demanded, holding her hand out. Nikki protested for a few minutes, before she decided, what the hell. No one would see them anyway.

A fellow co-worker turned some music on, beginning with Bobby Valintino's Anonymous. Nikki quickly found the beat and swayed her hips along with it. She loved dancing. She lost her self in the music soon, and everyone surrounding her disappeared.

Meanwhile, Alex was coming into the club. He was always there to watch his future strippers, to see if they were slutty enough for the club. Apparently only the top strippers got in here, so he made sure he was extra picky. But when he came in, there was already music on.

For a minute it was looking like
I'd end up one of those guys
Spending my whole life
Looking for a special lady to save me
Maybe I'll never be satisfied
Had a couple bad lucks and a couple dimes
Now that I'm looking for you
Why are you so hard to find?

Alex recognized it as one of those rapper/singer musics that his club promoted. But that song was held on deaf ears when he noticed the stage. On it were two girls, one light skinned, hands above her head and her almost nonexistent hips shaking. The girl next to her caught his attention instantly. She was really into the music, her eyes were closed, and her head thrown back while she moved her body to the beat. Her long brown curls were swaying along, and her sweat jacket had been tossed to the side earlier, so she was just wearing a white tank top, along with sweatpants with the words 'Sean John' across her rather large rump. Her skin resembled coffee cream, and her body reminded him of the old coke bottles. "Who is that?" Alex heard himself ask Mya, who was standing next to him. He couldn't take his eyes off the girl, who was still moving while some man rapped to the beat.

"Um..." Mya stared at her a little longer, before pulling a man to her side. "Who's that?" she asked bluntly, pointing the girl on the stage?"

"That one?" the man asked, his blue eyes fallowing her finger, "Um I don't know," He looked up at Alex who was still gazing across the club at her. Jaryd could tell that Alex had yet to realize that she was the girl from last night. He smiled knowingly. Even though he didn't know Alex personaly, the idea that he was infactuated with his friend made him a little proud. Alexander DeMarca had to have been one of the most powerful guys in New York at the momment.

"Ahh. Thank you," Mya nodded, and let go of the man, she turned to Alex, to see if he heard. If he had, he didn't let on. It wasn't really like him to watch someone so closely, but there was something in him that looked different from the way he looked at every other girl, including her.

I gotta know, I gotta know
Your name, Your name, Your name
Why you gotta be anonymous?

The chorus rang through Alex's ears feeling so true. He had to know who she was, standing on that stage like she owned it, causing his manhood to get hard at the look of her ass. God, when was the last time he had a real woman? Forever and a day.

The song slowly stopped, and so did she. When she opened her eyes, everybody began to clap and whistle, causing her to blush.

"Oh come on Nikki, accept it," Mimi grinned widely, pushing her friend forward a little. "You deserve it with that hot little body of yours." Mimi teased.

Nikki bit her lip, and bowed, twirling a little before she did the deed. "Thank you," she grinned, still not noticing that a man across the room was looking at her, staring at her and watching every movement she was doing.

"Encore!" one of the stripper-wannabes shouted, reaching for the iPod.

Nikki shook her head quickly, and got ready to get off the stage.

"No, encore." A deep voice demanded, standing right in front of her bent knees. She quickly sat down on the stage and in haled. It was the guy from last week. Now that she could really get a look at him, Nikki noticed how handsome he was. He wasn't just model handsome, he was perfect handsome. He was staring at her intensely, and Nikki was staring just as hard back. "Dance again," he ordered, his voice even. If he remembered who she was, he wasn't giving that up.

While Nikki stood up, Alex couldn't help but feel his Johnson get a little harder. God she was sexy. But he wasn't supposed to want her. The last time he saw the little bitch, she was slapping him and cursing him out. Now she was about to dance for him, and he'd be damned if he didn't enjoy it. More than anything at this point though, he wanted her in the private of his home, where he could teach her a lesson about respecting people.

Let's go to sleep in Paris,
and wake up in Tokyo.
Have a dream in New Orleans,
Fall in love in Chicago,
Mayne.
Wherever I go she goes.

Nikki looked down at the man, a worried look on her face. She wasn't exactly sure she could dance something so slow. The man didn't seem to care he just gave her an expectant look, still standing there. Nikki sighed, and found the beat. She moved her hips, and pretty soon her arms were fallowing suit. She got lost again, and Alex could feel himself get lost watching her. God she was hot. And being this close to her while she was dancing was making him want to take her home even more. But there's no way she'd go home with him just because. He needed a good plan, something that would make her have to go out with him. Out the corner of his eyes, he saw another female walk into the club, and she instantly got a shocked look on her face when she saw the girl on the stage. She smiled wide, and rushed to the stage. "Hell yeah sis!" the girl shouted, causing Nikki's eyes to open. When she saw the girl below, she stopped dancing. Alex turned his face to survey the girl who'd made the beautiful girl stop dancing. She looked young, too young to be in this club. She was just as petite as the girl she'd called 'sis', but she had short yellowish hair, that was obviously dyed. She had bright green eyes, a lighter skin tone then her sister, but she didn't seem to be as pretty as her sister, at least to Alex. It was probably because she wasn't as curvy. "Why'd you stop?" the girl asked the question that was on the tip of Alex's tongue. "You looked great up there."

"Shut up Penny," Nikki blushed, shaking her head. The song had long been finished, and Nikki finally turned to the gray eyed man. "Um..." she didn't know why, but she couldn't really even say anything to him. The way he was looking at her right now, she felt like he was undressing her with his eyes or something. He looked away for a few seconds, and motioned for someone to come over. Before Nikki knew it, a beautiful Asian woman appeared by his side. She turned to look at her, and Nikki saw something change in her eyes. Like she was excited about something. Okay then...Nikki thought, and before she knew it, a card was being shoved in her hands. "Ten O'clock," she heard him say to her, before he walked away. Nikki felt her face get hot at the intense look he gave her, while Penny excitedly went on about how hot the guy was. "I can't believe Alex DeMarca just invited you to his office!" Penny screeched, grabbing the card from Nikki.

"Who?" Nikki asked, feeling a little light headed. She couldn't really understand it, but she felt really effected. Like some large rapper or singer just acknowledged her.

"Alex DeMarca," Penny repeated, "He's like, the largest mobster in New York.

And then it clicked. Nikki turned to her sister. No wonder he had that 'I'm king of the fucking world, everyone must do as he says. Then it hit her again. "Shit," she muttered, walking away from the stage. The other night, she cursed him out...at any moment, something could happen to her. But maybe...maybe he didn't remember it was her. She looked down at the card Penny had handed back to her. Maybe he just liked the way she danced, and wanted to talk to her about her being a stripper. She'd gladly take that over drowning in the Hudson River any day.
